Hello everybody!
What a surprise to see my face on the blog!!! Yes, it was fun to run, actually, to walk, around Green lake last Saturday! For those who weren't there, there is only one thing to say: you missed it!
To change gear, but not too much, can you get around alright today? (Chris, can you tell me if this sentence is correct? I'm not sure...). I'm so happy! The real winter is in Seattle! That's so beautiful when you wake up in the morning and everything is covered by snow! I like that.

The question sentence is correct to my knowledge. The essence of the sentence is "Can you get around alright today?" Yes I can, thanks.
It is good to see your enthusiasm for winter, you changed my attitude of seeing it as a nuisance. Indeed, everything is covered with snow. And what's more, it's prettier than brown grass and weeds.
