Carlos's vacation

Hi guys,
I didn'n planned this trip with to much time so I didn't talk to you about it.
The good new is, right now I am enjoining the summer in Chile. Actually today is my second day in Chile. Last week I went to Argentina and Uruguay for working, the nice thing is my family traveled with me, so every day after work they was waiting for me to have dinner and go out for a walk in Buenos Aires.
Now I would like to introduce my family to you guys. In the picture, from left to right, Carlos (my dad), Ana (my mom), me, Rubi (my wife) and Lorena (my sister). The picture was taked when we were traveling from Argentina to Uruguay in a ferry.
Everything is great here.... I can feel all thing I missed for all these years...... I can smell the sence of my land, I can taste the fruit, the fresh fruits from my country, my mom is cooking the food I love, I don't know, is like I am re-recognoizing my world. Oh well, I guess I am too happy now.
What else, I haven´t do any home work yet ( I am sorry about it Cris) but it's because I use every single minute I have to talk to my family and friends to know about their lifes and to tell them about mine in these last 3 years.
I will try to post some more pictures. I will take some good ones to show you a little piece of my country.
Thanks guys, regards.
Carlos from Chile

Hi Carlos,
I wish you a great vacation. After three years in USA you definitely deserved that.
I really like, how you write about your country and about your mom's food.
My Czech friend invented me on a dinner during Christmas time here in Seattle. They cooked a roasted duck, sauerkraut and dumplings. I enjoyed that tradition Czech food very well, but I'm still thinking about mom's food....
