And this is my questions in present:

Hi, how are you doing?

What do you usually do when you come to Greenlake?

What are you doing right now?

Do you enjoy running or walking under the rain?

Why do you like this area?

So, I use the present simple to show a repetition, something that happens more than once.

I use the present continuous when I want to know right now what people are doing. It's a period of time.
