Dear Every One,
I did not come to last week class because I went to Los Angeles with my friend.
We took a very late flight last Wednesday and got in Los Angeles already midnight. We had two meetings on Thursday, one was in the morning and another was in the afternoon. After the meetings we drove directly to airport and we caught a earlier flight back to Seattle, so I could attend this Wednesday's class.
Los Angeles is a big city in US. There are many famous places there, such as Hollywood, Disney Land, beautiful Beaches, etc. If you plan your trip to Los Angeles, please leave at least two days for Los Angeles. But be careful, the traffic in Los Angeles is not as good as in Seattle, especially at rush hours. I got trouble when I drove back to airport last Wednesday.
Los Angeles is also a hub city in western part of US, you can easily reach many other places, for example, Las Veges is only 4 hours driving away, Sandi ego is only two hours driving away, San Francisco is 5 hours driving away.

Mexico.
My favourite city in Mexico is San Cristobal Del Las Casas in the Chiapas, southern Mexico.
But other and bigger cities I enjoyed were Guadalajara, Mexico City, Morelia and Tuxtla. Gaby should be able to inform you about Mexico City, places to see, places not to go, and traveling safely. I have a Lonely Planet Guide to Mexico you may borrow too.
